1. Controller and scope
This notice covers cookies and similar technologies used by musicforgestudio.site. The controller is MusicForgeStudio by Antonio Lambresa, Via Gino Buttazzi 35, 71027 Orsara di Puglia (FG), Italy · VAT number 04434680718 · REA FG-339079. For information and requests: info@musicforgestudio.site; certified email info@pec.musicforgestudio.it. This notice supplements the Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. They may last for a session or remain until they expire or are deleted, and may be set by this site or external providers. Pixels, statistical requests and local storage can also involve processing. The absence of a cookie does not, by itself, mean that browsing data is not processed.
3. Necessary functions and preferences
The site uses WordPress, WooCommerce and Polylang for navigation, language selection, accounts and shopping carts. Cookies strictly necessary to provide a function you request do not require consent. Non-essential tools must be assessed separately according to their purposes and configuration.
The documented standard durations for store functions are: woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart, session, to manage cart changes; wp_woocommerce_session_*, two days, to associate your browser with the cart held on the server. These may be set when you use the relevant functions.
pll_language remembers the language. Polylang documents a standard one-year expiry, which can be changed in the configuration. WordPress authentication cookies are relevant when you sign in and are not, by themselves, advertising tools. Actual expiry can depend on the function used and the configuration.
4. Statistics
The pages checked load statistical resources from Jetpack/Automattic and WooCommerce Analytics. These services may process the page visited, events and browser technical information. For certain functions, Jetpack documents the session cookies tk_ai and tk_qs. Describing a service does not mean that every cookie is set on every visit.
Provider information: Automattic Privacy Policy and Jetpack cookies. Consent requirements depend on the actual processing. Statistics cannot automatically be treated as exempt merely because they are described as anonymous.
5. External content and services
Where a page includes an external player, video or other provider’s resources, loading or using them may communicate technical data to that provider and require additional cookies. A simple social-media link does not, by itself, embed that service. Payment providers available at checkout may use technologies necessary to execute and protect the transaction; their notices in the relevant payment flow also apply.
6. Consent and browser controls
Non-essential tools require freely given, specific and withdrawable consent where applicable. Continuing to browse and remaining silent do not constitute consent. Consent controls, where provided, must allow optional tools to be refused and choices to be changed.
You can also manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent sign-in, cart operation or other requested functions. Deleting browser cookies does not automatically erase data already transmitted to a provider. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details above.
7. Rights, transfers and updates
For other processing purposes and legal bases, recipients, international transfers, retention and GDPR rights, see the Privacy Policy. You may complain to the competent supervisory authority, including the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
This notice must be updated when services, purposes or configurations change. Periodic checks do not replace prompt updates following material changes.
