Ilenia Stella is a pianist, harpsichordist, and educator from Italy’s Marche region whose artistic and academic background spans multiple disciplines. She graduated with honors in piano and later in harpsichord, earning her instrument teaching qualification, and continued her training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. In parallel, she completed a degree with honors in Art and Music Disciplines at the University of Letters and Philosophy in Bologna. Between 2018 and 2023, she took part in Ars et Labor masterclasses in Perugia with Christa Bützberger, studying Musical Phenomenology as taught by Sergiu Celibidache. Her career encompasses performances as a soloist, orchestral member, chamber musician, and choir director, participating in major events with cultural institutions across Italy and abroad. A piano teacher since the age of 14, she currently holds a tenured teaching position at Galileo Ferraris Middle School in Falconara Marittima and, since 2024/25, also teaches basic piano courses at the Lettimi Conservatory in Rimini-Cesena. She is the founder and artistic director of numerous projects, including Forme di Concerto, Maratona Bach, Doremiao “Tell Me a Story” children’s concerts, Sentire Ascoltando, and OttavaNota – musica come prendere cura, a music therapy-based initiative in the oncology department of Senigallia Hospital. Her discography includes a 2021 vinyl album with works by Bach and Couperin, aired on Radio3 Rai’s Primo Movimento, and the December 2024 album Note di colore with her own compositions and music by Maria Teresa Agnesi. She is also the author of a children’s book with original music, L’origine delle note, published by Ventura Edizioni.
